Jabiru Salt 'N Pepper x Badlands Honeytone Jive
4yo small horse stallion, palomino pinto. IMHR, ICHR and ISHR regos. Approx 37.5". He was shown very successfully as a junior horse at limited outings (only due to COVID cancelling all the shows), taking home multiple supreme wins. He is a proper horse type with great conformation and good action. He does like to test boundaries and can be disagreeable about having his hind legs handled, so needs a firm, confident handler. He is three quarter sibling to our best show horses, and was purpose bred to be retained. He had his first foals born in 2023 and they didn't disappoint, he has more due in 2024.

Unfortunately, he recently had his mane and forelock hacked off by someone at his agistment paddock, so we've reduced his price for a very limited time if he's sold as is. Otherwise we will withdraw from sale until it grows back and price will go back to $1,500.

Brown/black minimal appaloosa colt who is currently 32.75" at 5mths and expected to mature upper end small horse or little horse height. IMHR, ICHR reg'd. Friendly, laid back nature, comes up to you to be caught and fussed over. All his basic handling (leading/tying/picking up feet) is established.
Two of his siblings are successful harness horses, and he should have the height, frame and temperament to be the same. Available to go now and priced to meet the market.

Badlands Miss Adventure
Badlands Riff Raff x Lin-Di Black Pearl
This cracker filly is available to a show home, purely because we had so many girls born in the 2023 foaling season and can't show them all. She is registered IMHR and ICHR, and will mature small horse height. She's not as thick as she appears in the photos (she has an inch of foal coat), she has good straight legs and a ground covering stride.
Basic handling established, she is easy to catch, lead, tie up, trim feet, but she is a clean slate ready to go on with.
Ready to go now in all her winter glory.

Terms of sale

No horse shall be held without a 20% deposit.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Horses must be paid for in full on or before collection.

If not collected by an agreed date, an agistment fee of $20 per week per horse will be charged for a maximum of six weeks and if not collected the horse shall then be re-advertised and all money paid by buyer forfeited.

Payment plan available by negotiation, maximum six week terms.

All monies paid are non-refundable if buyer changes mind or fails to meet payment plan agreement.

Money fully refundable in the instance something were to happen to the horse during the term of a payment plan.

Badlands Farm reserves the right to withdraw a horse from sale or alter its price without notice.

Payments: Cash or bank deposit preferred. Cheques must clear before horse can be removed from Badlands Farm.
The above conditions apply to the sale of all horses and ponies unless stated otherwise.
Definition of a 'Show Contract'
Option 1) Horse must be shown a minimum of three times per year over the first three years of ownership.
Option 2) Horse must be shown a minimum of five times in the first 12 months of ownership, including one State or National Championship show.
Contractual agreement to one of the above options must be signed by purchaser before sale is finalised.
